ABOUT THE EVENT
SL Benfica was crowned the winner of the EHF European League Men 2021/22 at the EHF Finals.
At the EHF´s second tier club competition on the 28/29 May 2022 at the Altice Arena in Lisabon, Portugal 4 teams fought for the title. In the 3rd place match ORLEN Wisla Plock took the Bronze medal against RK Nexe with 27:22.
In the final SL Benfica earned their maiden international trophy with a 40:39 win after the extra time against SC Magedburg.
Congratulations to SL Benfica for their first European League win and a big thank you to the host SL Benfica for a spectacular event.
