Throughout the season, the competing teams vie to accumulate as many points as possible through participation in different tournaments. The top sides at the end of the regular season qualify for the ebt Finals, held the following year. The ebt Finals 2024 took place in Lacanau, France in June, with EFE Os Tigres taking the men’s trophy and CBMP Ciudad De Malaga the women’s. As the current title holders, both teams qualified for the ebt Finals 2025 in Trapani, Italy on 5–8 June.

Women: Westsite Amsterdam (NED), Multichem Szentendrei NKE (HUN), CATS AM Team Almeria (ESP), BHC Zagreb (CRO), London GD (GBR), Kanonierky Sport Club Senec (SVK), Niteroy Rugby FC (IRL), AD IASPORTS (POR), CAIPIranhas (GER), Blue Team (ITA), The Danish Beachhandball Dream (DEN) and BHT Conkret Byczki Kowalewo Pomorskie (POL).
Men: Aarhus Beach (DEN), SC Squadra Buda (HUN), BHC Zagreb (CRO), 12 Monkeys Köln BHC (GER), Beach Handball Tilburg (NED), GRD Leça - Spar (POR), CBMP Ciudad De Malaga (ESP), BHT GRU JUKO Piotrków Trybunalski (POL), Niteroi Rugby FC (IRL), Team Tchatcheurs (FRA), HEI Beach Handball (DEN) and Czech Lions (CZE).
In addition, organisers Italy have a wild card for each gender and will add one additional team to each competition.
The Danish Beachhandball Dream and GRD Leça - Spar were the champions of their respective tournaments at the Champions Cup in October.
The 21st season of the ebt, the 2024/25 edition, will begin on 1 December 2024 and conclude on 31 October 2025. The regulations for the 2024/25 season will be available here when published.
