Applications to Beach Handball Specialisation B and C may only be forwarded after two years of proven activity in beach handball coaching.
As opposed to the previous levels, Beach Handball High Specialisation C is the exclusive competence of the EHF and will be organised within the framework of the EHF Beach Handball competitions, with clearly established entry criteria:
- completion of the RINCK Level 2
- completion of EHF Beach Handball Specialisation B
- at least two years of proven activity in beach handball coaching
- the indication of a topic for the project work
The 62 specialisation C teaching units include both online and frontal activities, with the curriculum proposing advanced sessions regarding the rules of the game and tactical aspects — attack, goalkeeping and defence. The programme also features modules on physical conditioning and psychology, while also addressing topics related to management and sports medicine. At the end, the participants are required to undergo a test and discuss the project work.
Coaching Specialisation for EHF beach handball events
The introduction of these specialisations follows a defined timeline that raises the level required across EHF beach handball competitions.
The first mandatory level was used in 2025 for the senior EHF Beach Handball EURO, then Beach Handball Specialisation A became necessary for YAC events, Champions Cup and ebt Finals in 2026, while Specialisation B has been introduced for the senior national team tournaments.
The ascending path continues through 2027 and 2028, eventually requiring a higher level of specialisation in every competition category. By 2029, all four event types — YAC, senior, Champions Cup and ebt Finals — will align with the Beach Handball High Specialisation C.
