Explore key topics in insightful sessions
The conference opens on Wednesday 16 December with sessions highlighting the vision for developing the game in the coming years — including a look at the Women's Handball Roadmap 2029 and Her Playground initiative. The series of panels begins with Pamela Cookey, former captain of England’s netball team, joining Nigel Fletcher, CEO and Co-Founder of International Sports Convention, for a discussion on “How to grow the visibility of the women’s game.”
In the afternoon, Her Playground role models Andrea Lekić, Joyce van Haaster and Katrine Lunde take the stage for the “She Inspires. We Win” panel, followed by former Dutch international and world champion Estavana Polman and former F1 ACADEMY driver Chloe Grant, who will address a key topic in modern sports — “ Athlete branding: How to build a successful personal brand.”
Day two of the conference shifts the focus to athlete wellbeing, safeguarding culture and scientific insights into women’s health. Sessions on Thursday 17 December explore topics related to menstruation — from breaking the taboo to analysing its influence on performance and injury occurrence. These discussions aim to provide essential knowledge and practical tools for athletes, coaches and team staff.
On Thursday afternoon, keynote speaker Tine Austvoll Jensen, former CEO of Google Norway, will put the spotlight on "10 lessons sports can learn from the tech industry", offering insights into one of the most innovative sectors. Later on, she will also join Ingrid Felipe and Katrine Lunde for the “She Leads. We Win” panel, a thoughtful conversation on leadership, concluding the event.
