City of Graz
Graz is, with around 300.000 inhabitants, not only the second largest city in Austria, but also the capital of the Austrian state of Styria. Thanks to its history, the city has a lot to offer.
Graz is one of the most beautiful cities in Austria, and in 1999, the city's historic centre was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
This is the first time Graz will host the EHF Finals Women. The best teams in European League Women will come to the Styrian capital to fight for the title in May 2023!
Raiffeisen Sport Park, Graz
The 2023 edition of the EHF Finals Women on 13/14 May 2023 will for the first time ever take place in Raiffeisen Sport Park in Graz, Austria.
The multifunctional sports arena is the second largest handball arena in Graz with an capacity of approximately 3.000 spectators. Not only has the newly built arena (2018) been freequently used by the Austrian Handball Federation, but the arena has also held international handball matches, such as EURO qualifications and World Championship qualtifications. The arena was also a central part during the EHF EURO 2020.
The Graz Handball Arena will serve as remarkable setting for the EHF Finals Women event in May and will elevate the competition to new heights. Never before have the four best teams of the season competed in front of so many spectators. All four participants and fans can look forward to a great atmosphere, thrilling match action and unforgettable experiences.
