Melsungen's maiden trophy gives Winamax EHF Finals 2026 a glorious end.

The EHF European League Men 2025/26 season has come to end on Sunday 31 May with the crowning of MT Melsungen as the new champions at the Winamax EHF Finals 2026 at Barclays Arena in Hamburg. MT Melsungen edged out THW Kiel in a tense and hard-fought final, fter SG Flensburg-Handewitt had defeated Montpellier Handball 32:30 in the third place match.

It is the first ever – domestic and international – title for MT Melsungen, who had played their second EHF Finals after finishing fourth in 2025.
