Sweden came into the Women's EHF EURO 2024 with a medal on their minds, after two fourth places at the 2023 IHF Women's World Championship and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. And although North Macedonia kept Sweden on their toes until the 20th minute of the first half, once the Tomas Axnér-led squad established control over the match's result, it was a one-way street at the Fönix Arena in Debrecen.
